As a graduate research intern at NASA Langley Research Center, I worked on various web, UX, and UI projects for the Space Mission Analysis Branch (SMAB) which is the premiere space concepts and systems analysis organization at NASA.

I think interaction design, at its core, is the intentional creation of a conversation between people, systems, and/or technology. Interaction design is a jumping-off point for the holistic user experience. Reciprocity is critical to interaction design. In order to create meaningful designed interactions, the user needs a way to communicate back to the designer.

Since I can remember I have always kept a sketchbook. And when one isn't available, I can be seen doodling in margins, envelopes, and the occasional napkin. Sketching is part of my thought process. Enjoy!
